Who is Jung?
It brings great joy, being a designer. We may not be curing cancer and solving rocket science but being a designer means that our job is to understand people and communicate in the most creative, intelligent and inspiring way. To me, design is as important as any lifesaving occupation because without cohesive communication, words are simply a dead language and it is crucial to convey the proper message to the public.
My name is Jung Yeun, but I just go by Jung (J is not silent and rhymes with sung). I graduated with a BFA in Communication Design and a minor
in History of Arts from Carnegie Mellon University School of Design in May 2009, receiving University Honors and College Honors. I'm very energetic, dedicated to my work and punctual.
I mainly grew up in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, Seoul, Korea, and Demarest, NJ but when I was in highschool, my parents lived in Mexico and Russia for a short period of time. When I'm not designing, I'm either cooking, drawing, or taking photographs.
I now look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in the professional design industry. I am currently working at a brand engagement agency in NYC.
